FURTHER THAN THE EYES CAN SEE AND DEEPER THAN THE HEART CAN JUDGE
As with most mornings, I’m awakened by the sound of sweet animated cartoon video of my children, but this particular morning, the cartoon clip that was playing was the story of Joseph and His brothers.
As I am laying here in the warm and comfort of my blankets and bed. I can hear the video as it played out. I am listening to the words when Joseph seemed to be favored not only by his father but also by his God. The blessing from his father and the vision that was given to him by God (the dream was the vision of what is to come); but Joseph being young and not understanding what was happening to him other than the knowledge that he was loved by his parents and not yet understanding the favors and plans of God for his life.
On the other hand, his elder brothers only see the situation with Joseph with very jealous and hatred eyes. The callous that they had built in their hearts had been brewing up envious thoughts and evilness in their hearts against Joseph without understanding the meaning of the dreams and visions that God has given to Joseph. When Joseph told the dream to them, the brothers were filled with hatred in their hearts which had blinded their minds that they plotted evil against Joseph. They were only thinking of themselves and their lack of understanding of what all it could mean but only compare their duties with Joseph. They didn’t like that Joseph was favor by their father more than them.
In spite of what was happening to Joseph with his brother. God’s plans for Joseph was not altered by their actions of hatred, but only further confirm with His plan for Joseph with the destiny In Which God had planned for Joseph to be. God’s plans for Joseph will continue to be carried out accordingly for the testing of Joseph’s heart and the timing of God for Him to position Joseph to be a savior and deliverer of the nations and his family.
Yes, you probably are wondering and questioning where am I going with this story. There are many scenario that can be pull out of this story, but this morning the LORD had my heart and spirit focus on what I have witness over the years with many churches and church organizations is that, the jealousy and envy games, the criticism judgement games, the cast down and put out games have been played out in many more ways than one in churches and other faith based organizations. Over the years I have talked with and have been associated with many good and well-educated people who are favored by God. They have witnessed and dealt with many churches that the problems with the pride and power trip has well taken control of the churches’ leadership panel. The churches and faith based organization leaderships had fail to see the many things that God is doing and working in these wonderful people’s lives that are with obvious signs, anointing, and favors of God upon their lives; But yet they are being casted out and put down because they don’t fit in the diagram or structures of what the churches and it’s leaders mindset see as “their” rules and “regulations” of what or how a brothers or sisters should be. Because of the critical, narrow, and limited of our thinking that we, at most time, will miss the things that we had prayed and asked God for that He had sent through a vessel that we had rejected. Yet again I’m am reminded of the word in Isaiah 55:8-9(KJV)
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
If we can think for God and put words in His mouth, well then, we would be perfect at every judgement with every person and every situation that may come our way. If we could come to the understanding and know that we as human, we should know that is a laughable matter if we think we can outsmart God in His infinite wisdom that we would be able to know what God is thinking. He will change His ways a thousand time to test every area and aspect of our hearts, mind, and thoughts that we can never, and I Mean Will Never be able to predict what God is up to or else God would not be Who He is. THE GREAT GOD I AM.
My point as I am inspired by the Spirit of God this morning is that each of us, either believers or leaders of churches or anyone who would like to place themselves in this leadership situation. We should look deep and hard into our hearts and research our own thoughts and actions towards one another that The Lord has placed in and around our lives to test our hearts and actions. As I remember reading in the scripture when Jesus walk the earth, He tested everyone who came to them, and those who humble themselves surely did see the Son of God that day and not only did they see the Son of God but also had witness God hands in action through His Son Jesus’ life.
Because we will never know if we, one day, will have to look up to the person that we have cast out, put down, or look over because we have let our criticism, our judgement, our pride and what we have learned or the many years of experience blind us from what and who God will use to bring changes or bring answers to the prayer that we have prevalently pray for because we let our judgement or our thoughts of how different a brother or sisters may be or they don’t fit in with our humanism ways, rules, or regulations as we think church should be.
If we can humble ourselves, who knows we may get to see God in a way that we would never see in our prideful and self-knowledgeable ways.
May God’s Love and peace be with each and every one who seeks to know God’s heart and His ways. May God’s blessings be with you this day and always. Amen.

Matthew 21:16 (KJV)
“and said unto Him, “Hearest thou what these say?” And Jesus said unto them, “Yea, have ye never read, ‘Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou hast perfected praise’?”
Zechariah 12:10 (KJV)
“And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”
John 19:37 (KJV)
“And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.”
